Who I Am and What I Do
My name is Katty Ginorio. I am a believer, a wife of 19 years, and a mother of three amazing young adults. The creation of UP for SPED is a response to the many families and professionals in the field I have met, who deserve the support they ask for. My desire is to lead with a deep commitment to serving the special education community. I hold an LLC in education consulting and coaching, backed by a bachelor's degree in Educational Studies, and I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Instruction and Curriculum.

My desire is to lead with a deep commitment to serving the special education community. I hold an LLC in education consulting and coaching, backed by a bachelor's degree in Educational Studies, and I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Instruction and Curriculum. With over a decade of experience in special education, my background includes working as an assistant teacher, a teacher with PCM training, a behavior therapist, and an ESE facilitator with multiple training through independent companies. I have also served as an Assistant Principal in a private school for four years, gaining valuable administrative and leadership experience. My passion lies in creating innovative solutions, customized teaching materials, and comprehensive support services to empower educators, families, and students with diverse abilities and learning/teaching styles.

- Coaching: Personalized support through observation, feedback, and guidance, focusing on implementing individualized goals discussed during consultations. We develop tailored strategies for customized services and provide ongoing, targeted coaching to address your specific needs.
- Workshops: Training on a range of educational topics to equip parents, administrators, and educators with current knowledge and effective strategies.
- Customized Academic Materials: Development of personalized curricula, forms, schedules, and more, aligned with BEST standards and research-based resources. These materials are designed to meet the specific needs of each student, homeschool family, and classroom teacher, ensuring a tailored educational experience.
